I thought it was only in Gordons Bay where we see sunsets like these, obviously you get them at other places as well, they might not look as spectacular as Strand Beach but they come close.

This was the second wooden bridge you pass over when going through the grounds that used to be a camping place at the end of Kleinmond, now you can still braai there.

The Kleinmond beach is empty, only thing left is the big lifeguard hut. The holiday goers are now home, back to work and life.

The place to have been this new year was in Kleinmond, last night it rained but this morning it started clearing up after the morning rain but it was still cold. Almost like winter.

Kleinmond has the most beautiful waves but also one of the strongest currents in Cape Town. The sea here is dangerous if you dont know what you are doing you might end up in Hermanus.

This is a first for that part of Kleinmond beach. Because the lagoon does not empty out in the ocean anymore there are now plants going over that part where the small river used to go.

Kleinmond lagoon bridge and the beach in the background. This is still one of my favourite places, although much has changed.

Kleinmond, one of my favourite places in South Africa.
