Kleinmond lagoon bridge and the beach in the background. This is still one of my favourite places, although much has changed. You can see here that summer is now starting and the beach is nice and clean, the water is flat there is no wind.
The bridge that crosses over the lagoon is now much deeper because the lagoon does not go into the ocean that much anymore. This also means the lagoon is deeper and goes further. The bridge is obviously not being maintained, the last time it was fixed up was just after apartheid ended.
They changed the old wood with recycled plastic, that looked nice but now the paint is long gone and the bridge is starting to fall apart.
