Touwsrivier is such a lovely town. Touwsrivier started as a train throughway and through the years the trains stopped and the small Karoo town basically came to a standstill.

Welcome to Camps Bay beach on a hot summer day. The water is still freezing although the sun is shining and it was the middle of heat wave.

Here is another photo of the beautiful sunset on Strand Beach here in the Helderberg area. People jogging, children playing on the beach and lots of people just walking and enjoying the sunset.

Packed like sardines but the best view in Helderberg. Ok maybe one of the best views in Helderberg watching over Table Mountain and the rest of Cape Town.

This was the massive fire a while back that destroyed houses and the hotel here in Somerset West. In this photo you can see Helderberg covered in smoke.

Lovely girls smiling at the J&B Met. Lots of fun and well dressed people from Cape Town

I went to the J&B Met and took some nice photos. Here is one of the contestants of the J&B Met outfit competition.

I thought it was only in Gordons Bay where we see sunsets like these, obviously you get them at other places as well, they might not look as spectacular as Strand Beach but they come close.

This was the second wooden bridge you pass over when going through the grounds that used to be a camping place at the end of Kleinmond, now you can still braai there.

The Kleinmond beach is empty, only thing left is the big lifeguard hut. The holiday goers are now home, back to work and life.
