Last year on our road trip we drove past Wilderness on our way to Cape Town. As usual you'll be passed the entire town before you can put your flicker on.
Wilderness really is a place to explore, you can go canoeing on the Wilderness Lagoon or the Kogmanskloof river.
There is this old camping spot where you can watch the Outerniqua tjoe choe drive pass daily or even go deeper in the wild by taking a hike.
The beach is great for snorkeling and continues on the way to Knysna side for about 7km till it ends at really steep high cliffs.
